ToyCon 2014: A Toy Collector's Heaven!
There was a huge convention about anything toy-related at SM Megamall's
Megatrade Halls last June 20-22, more popularly known as "ToyCon"! It
was my first time to attend their event, and I saw a lot of interesting
things!
More pictures after the break, so let me share with you my experiences!

Going Places - People's Park in the Sky (Tagaytay)
| Lots of tourists here at the "People's Park in the Sky". They'll be in for a very disappointing experience, and so was I. *sigh* |
If you're a tourist looking for beautiful places in the Philippines to visit, then look further! Yes, you read that right, LOOK ELSEWHERE. Because this is definitely not the place you're looking for.
Still not convinced? Fine. Let my post enlighten you.

Going Places - Puzzle Mansion: Bed & Breakfast (Tagaytay)
| The Puzzle Mansion! |
Once we got there, I just took all the pictures that I can. The Puzzle Mansion is a Bed & Breakfast place, but you can also visit their puzzle exhibit. Apparently, they have the Guinness World Record of largest collection of jigsaw puzzles. The owner of the Puzzle Mansion is one Georgina Gil-Lacuna, and she received the achievement just last year, on November 29, 2012.
Alright, time for some pictures!

Plastic Model Kit Summer Workshop: A Starting Line for Gunpla Hobby Beginners
![]() |
| An interesting-looking banner... |
Are you planning on participating in this year's Toy Kingdom Gundam Model Kit Contest, but feel that you're not yet confident with your Gunpla building skills? Maybe you've just entered the world of Gunpla building and you're interested in modifying or painting your Gunplas and you don't know where to start? Maybe you're just looking for a new or different recreational activity this summer? Or maybe, like me, you just really like.. No. You're just OBSESSED about anything Gundam-related?
But, more importantly, are you in the Philippines as of the moment? Because that's important.
If your answer is YES, then the Plastic Model Kit Summer Workshop just might be for you!
I'm not sure yet if I could join, but I'm giving it much thought. If you're interested, you can get more information on their Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/PMKWorkshop
Here are some basic information, too, if you want to contact them personally:
Address: 2574 Brookside Drive, Parkplace Executive Village, 1900 Cainta, Rizal
Contact No.: 0922-678-6006 / (02) 996-95-22
Look for 'Eric Capucion'
The workshop is 5 days long, 3 hours per daily session. If you have P2500 to spare, why not, right? Why not enroll your children this summer as well? This is a very awesome way to spend their summer vacation. Plus, they get a free Gunpla kit. Sweet! Why not join your kids as well? You could use a break. It's just 3 hours per day, so why not?
More Gundam-related stuff in the future. See you in the next post!

Yexel's Toy Museum: Anime Nostalgia Overload
Welcome to "Yexel's Toy Museum"!
This is a 3-story building that exhibits famous Cartoons, Anime, Manga, Comics, Video Games, and Movie character figurines, toys, statues, and dioramas. But what really interests people who come to visit is the Museum's last room, which is home to the largest Optimus Prime bust in the world!
The owner, Yexel Sebastian, opened the Toy Museum last August 26, 2012 and has costed him around ₱8 million to build it. Wow.
