Back to College Life...

I'm currently back at school.
I'm taking a computer-related degree. Again.

Lately, I've been ...pre-occupied with school work...

Yes, I already took a college degree in the past. Back then, I wasn't dedicated enough to finish the program. I ended up quitting in the end... It was one of the darkest times of my life. I'm pretty sure there are some of you out there that has a similar experience to mine. Some might have "darker" experiences. One thing's for sure, we're not proud of these experiences. I guess I'm trying to convince myself to move on when I say these things...

Yup, this is the reason why I haven't been able to post a lot of stuff on my blog as of late. We're about to have our Final Examinations next week. I'm trying to get high grades (compared to just getting mediocre grades in the past) so I can compensate for all the mistakes I did before. I realized that I was always an under-achiever because of my own laziness. Again, I'm not really proud of that trait of mine...

So, why suddenly enroll again for a college degree?

I realized that I wanted to do something better with my life. Before I die, even just once, I want to do something that I'll be proud of and contribute to our world.

Hopefully, I'll be able to post this September, since we're also going to have a break before the next semester starts.

See you guys in the next post!

Anime Overview: Mobile Suit Gundam 00

It's time for yet another Gundam Anime Overview! Yup.

This is one of the latest Gundam series I've watched. (Yes, I haven't watched Gundam Unicorn yet because I want to watch the English dub version and it's still not available here. For some reason, I don't like Gundam watching dubbed in Japanese... It just looks weird to me. Hmmm.. But I know that's just me.) Anyway, I've decided to do this one first because I can still remember this one pretty well. I don't want to write an article about an Anime that I've already forgotten. Initially, I was planning on writing an article about Gundam SEED. Unfortunately, last time I've watched that was, I dunno, 5-8 years ago? Anyway, I think I need to re-watch that again.. My memory of Gundam SEED is already a little hazy.

...Hmm? Oh, right. We're not here to talk about Gundam SEED.
Right now, we're going to take a look at "Mobile Suit Gundam 00"!

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and its logo (pictured above) are all trademarks and owned by Sunrise, Bandai, Sotsu Agency & other associated parties.

No Posts?! "Super Slow Blog Pace"...

I'm sorry, it's been a while since I've posted anything on Jyuzou's Blog. I apologize for the "super slow pace" that the blog is currently in. I've been busy with school for the past couple of months because of the new things I need to adjust to. I have anticipated this, although I never thought that I won't be able to post this much.. Again, I apologize...

Next month, though, I'm going to try to post more stuff to compensate for the lack of content for the last couple of months. I'll also slip in some tidbits of what's currently happening in my miserable life. LOL. In the meantime, please do bare with me. I know I still have a lot a lot of Gunpla Kits that I haven't reviewed yet...

Stay tuned for August, and I'll see you guys in the next post!

Oh No! Manga Cosplay Camp 2: My First Anime Convention

Last July 7, I attended my very first Anime Convention ever!
I went to Oh-No! Manga Cosplay Camp 2 at SMX Hall 1! (My post is super late, I know.. Again, I'm sorry.. Please don't hurt me..)

The "Oh No! Manga: Cosplay Camp 2".
I went there with my friend, Ed. He's usually the one who informs me about these kinds of events. We also went to Yexel's Toy Musuem earlier this year, just in case you'd like to see that as well.

I Need More Time...

Hello, everyone!

I'm really sorry, I wasn't able to post anything for around 2 weeks. I'm currently getting the HG RX-78-2 Gundam Kit Review done, but it seems that this thing takes more time to build than usual... It's not that it's hard to build or anything (I'm guessing, I haven't really assembled the Gunpla yet), it's because it takes more time to clean the parts after you've separated them from the runners.

Really tiny parts.. Hard to remove nubs.. Like the one I'm holding right here, the red thingamajig for the v-fin..
Yeah, I moved my laptop to another table so that I'll have more space on my desk for other desk stuff. It wouldn't be so hard if some of the parts aren't super tiny... I guess that's one problem you'll have to face when building a 1:144 Scale Gundam Model Kit. Hmmm.. The thought of building a "Real Grade" now seems much scarier to me...

I'll post the Gunpla Review as soon as I can and I'll see you guys in the next post!

Knock-off Review: "Wing Gundam Ver. Tagaytay" Review

Hey, it's a Black Wing Gundam! That looks aweso... *gasp* (Cannot unsee!)
As we were walking around the stores in People's Park in the the Sky in Tagaytay City two weeks ago, I happen to stumble upon this not-so-rare gem. In the Philippines, this is already a common sight. But, really, this was just SO ridiculous that I just had to buy it! (Also because it was based on one of my favorite Gundams..)

So, here's a cheap toy I bought from Tagaytay: the "Cosmic Warrior", or, as I'd like to call it, "Wing Gundam Ver. Tagaytay"! It's like the "Ver. KA" that you've always never wanted!

"No Grade" XXXG-01W Wing Gundam Gunpla Unboxing & Review

"It transformed into a Mobile Suit!!"
To start off the month of June, here's a Retro Gunpla Review!

It's time for one of my favorite Gundams to make its grand entrance! This is the very first Gundam that I saw in my life (and, back then, it blew my tiny mind!) and I know that this is true to most Gunpla fans as well, especially to the Western folks.

Anyway, here's my first "No Grade" review. The "XXXG-01W Wing Gundam". As usual, all the information are past the break.

Preview: The RX-78-2 Gundam "High Grade [HG] Gunpla Starter Set Volume 2"

Alright, time to get back to Gundam-related posts. I still regret not being able to go to SM North Edsa for Toy Kingdom's event... Anyway, moving on.

Ah, June... My favorite month. (Because I don't get any presents in December! ...well, I did get gifts before. I think they stopped giving me gifts because I got older? Darn.)

It's time for some "High Grade" Gunpla Reviews!
...and as promised, we'll take a closer look at the "High Grade [HG]" line of Gundam Model Kits from Bandai this month. And what better kit to start with than the original Gundam, RX-78-2! This is the "Gunpla Starter Set Volume 2" and this is actually one of the first Gunpla that I bought for myself to review. (It's the third kit, specifically. I already bought this kit before I started blogging. I wanted this kit to be the first one that I review. It didn't work out the way I wanted to, though... I'm just really stubborn about making a video review for it, I guess. *sigh* One day, Jyuzou... One day.)

I'll have more High Grade Gundam Model Kits prepared for you guys this month. I think I'll be able to post at least 3 HG kit reviews this June. Actually, I already have 2 HG kits with me (including this kit) and I'm just waiting for the right opportunity to give it a proper Gunpla Review. Unfortunately, I'm going to be busy starting next month that I think I won't be able to post as often as I do in the past 2 months. But I'll still try.

I'm looking forward to the new Gunpla Reviews next month! I hope more of you guys can join me in my quest in Gunpla building and collecting. See you guys in the next post!

Going Places - People's Park in the Sky (Tagaytay)

Lots of tourists here at the "People's Park in the Sky". They'll be in for a very disappointing experience, and so was I. *sigh*
One of the famous tourist spots here at Tagaytay City is the "People's Park in the Sky". It was originally named "Palace in the Sky", I discovered after doing a little researched on the web. (I was initially calling it "Palace in the Sky" and I thought that I was wrong when I saw its Hollywood-like sign.) Since it was raining on the day we arrived in Tagaytay, we were only able to go around places the next day. This is our final destination before heading home.

If you're a tourist looking for beautiful places in the Philippines to visit, then look further! Yes, you read that right, LOOK ELSEWHERE. Because this is definitely not the place you're looking for.

Still not convinced? Fine. Let my post enlighten you.

Going Places - ViewPoint: Inn & Restaurant (Tagaytay)

Welcome to "ViewPont: Inn & Restaurant"!
There are tons of Hotels and Inns in Tagaytay City, if ever you wanted to spend the night on your visit there. Although I haven't lodged in any of the other Hotels and Inns, I can tell that ViewPoint is probably one of the best options around. I can even go so far as to say that to truely enjoy your visit to Tagaytay City, you must stay for one night in this inn. ...and I know everybody will be looking for pictures, so let's go and have a look around.
