Sorry for the lack of content as of the moment.. I just started blogging last month, but I promise to occasionally add content at least weekly or more frequently once I pick up momentum. 

About Jyuzou's Blog

So what is this blog about, exactly? "What kind of things are you going to post?!"

Well, just about anything, really. Anything that might be interesting to Otakus like me. Anime, video games, model kits, action figures and figurines, perhaps gadgets, and even anything Japanese.

But, since I'm just starting, I'm going to focus on GUNPLA (GUNdam PLAstic Model Kits).

I'm planning on collecting a lot of Gunpla Model Kits and I'd keep record and share my Gunpla collecting adventures to other Gundam fans, Mecha Maniacs and to all the Otakus out there with the help of this blog! There will be tons of unboxings, reviews and other information about anything Gundam-related. Then, my posts will eventually branch out to other Otaku-related or Japan-related stuff.

But, from time to time, I'll post other random stuff, too. (If I think it's interesting enough for others to see.) It's kinda like my online diary, which is basically what a blog is meant to be. My "online journal"...

About me? 

Well, there's nothing really that much interesting stuff about me. I'm just your regular Otaku. I'm just here to share my love and the pure awesomeness of Japan & Anime through my blog. 

About my name? 

Oh, it's actually from "Jyuzou" of Tenchu: Fatal Shadows. I'm a big fan of the Tenchu franchise ever since I played the first game released for the PSX. To tell you the truth, I'm not really a big fan of "Jyuzou". I'm more of an "Ayame" fan. I just like Jyuzou's name. ...that was underwhelming. 

Nikon D5000 DSLR Camera

Apple 4th-Generation iPod Touch

Throughout my adventures, I will be accompanied by my Nikon D5000 DSLR Camera. I don't know if it's a "good" camera, I'm not really a photographer and I don't really know how to check camera specs. It's just that it's the only DSLR camera that I have available. But I would like to learn more about photography so I can take better pictures of my Gunpla. If ever that I don't have my D5000 with me (since it's very heavy), I use my Apple 4th Generation iPod Touch. I don't really have anything else to shoot pictures with, but I'm planning on buying the 5th Generation iPod Touch for taking videos and so that I'll also have a more "decent" portable snapper.

Since I'm an Otaku, I like to watch Anime, read Manga, play Video Games, buy figurines/action figures/model kits and gadgets!

And so, here is my obligatory list of "things that I like":

Anime & Manga:
Mobile Suit Gundam (including all the sequels and spin-offs), Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter × Hunter, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Black Rock Shooter, Zoids, Rurouni Kenshin, Doraemon, Eyeshield 21, Slamdunk, Shaman King... Gaah, there's so many! That's just from the top of my head!

Video Games:
Tenchu, Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Megaman/Megaman X, Castlevania, Street Fighter, Pokémon, Phoenix Wright, Final Fantasy, God of War, Tony Hawk...
A few specific games... Gundam Battle Assault 2, Digimon Rumble Arena, Crash Team Racing, Tales of Destiny, Jackie Chan: Stunt Master, Brave Fencer Musashi, EXIT, N, The 3rd Birthday, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Jump Ultimate Stars, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes... That's just from the top of my head, again. There's just too many!

Gadgets:
Most of the gadgets that I own are game consoles. But I like handheld game consoles in particular. The original Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS Lite (my favorite game console!), PlayStation Portable 2000, Apple 4th Generation iPod Touch (my trusty music and all-around companion)... Most of the gadgets that I buy, I buy for gaming. The last gadget that I've purchased is the Nexus 7. I have traditional game consoles, too. I still have my Nintendo Entertainment System somewhere at home and it still works.

Music:
Japanese Music! L'Arc~en~Ciel, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, No Regret Life, BoA, Kaela Kimura, Angela Aki, B'z, MAXIMUM THE HORMONE... (Again, from the top of my head.) But if I have to list all of the artists/music that I like, we'll be here forever. I'm like music and I like different genres, from ballads like Air Supply, heavy metals like Metallica, classics like The Beatles, grunges like Nirvana, and, of course, rock songs like from The Darkness. (Even old rock bands like Bon Jovi. Yeah, I like Bon Jovi. also Kiss, My Chemical Romance, there's so many...) I also like some obscure foreign bands like Blisterhead.

I also like Hatsume Miku! and Jackie Chan, because of his awesome butt-kicking karate! I also love to draw (but I suck at it) and reading. That's what my Amazon 3rd Generation Kindle's for. And my Nexus 7's for my PDF viewing.
